We’ve Been Granted Funds for Two Rainwater Collection Systems
We are thrilled to share some incredible news:
Thanks to the generosity of Ugandan Water Project, we have been awarded funding to build TWO rainwater collection systems in Uganda!
This milestone brings us one step closer to a future where every child, every family, and every school in our supported communities has access to clean, safe drinking water — a basic human right that too many still live without.

Why This Matters
Access to clean water is life-changing. For the women and girls we serve, it means:
💧 Healthier Families – Reduced risk of waterborne illness
👧🏽 More Girls in School – Less time spent fetching water means more time for learning
💪🏿 Stronger Communities – Reliable water sources strengthen schools and local economies
With these two new rainwater harvesting systems, hundreds of people in rural Ugandan communities will benefit. Each system includes a large-capacity tank, a secure tap stand, additional filters to make it safe to drink, and guttering to collect rainwater from school or community rooftops — all constructed by local crews with oversight from our team at Raising Girls’ Foundation Co. Limited.

Our First Community Project: Everyone Pitching In
Our first community project is bringing everyone together — students, families, and neighbors — all pitching in to help build the systems and earn school credits. With two rainwater systems on the way, our reach will expand even further, touching more lives and building stronger foundations for education, health, and dignity.
This isn’t just about water tanks — it’s about community ownership, youth engagement, and shared purpose.
