Introducing Raising Girls’ Foundation Co. Limited
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new milestone in our journey:
Raising a Girl to the World, Inc. is now officially registered as a nonprofit organization in Uganda under the name Raising Girls’ Foundation Co. Limited!
This is more than just a legal step — it’s a powerful moment of growth that will strengthen our work and deepen our impact in the communities we serve.

Why This Matters
Since our founding, our mission has been clear: to empower girls and women in Uganda through education, skill development, and community support. Until now, we have operated solely as a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, partnering with local leaders to implement programs on the ground.
With the registration of Raising Girls’ Foundation Co. Limited, we now have a fully recognized legal presence in Uganda. This brings with it several important benefits:
✅ Local Legitimacy – We can now formally partner with schools, government agencies, and community leaders.
✅ Increased Transparency – We can manage funds and operations more efficiently and locally.
✅ Expanded Access – We are eligible for new grants, in-country resources, and collaborations.
✅ Stronger Local Leadership – Our amazing Ugandan Director, Moureen, and her team can lead with greater autonomy and authority.

What’s Next?
This milestone opens the door for even more transformative work. With your support and our now dual-registered presence, we aim to:
• Expand our vocational sewing school to train more women
• Bring clean water systems to schools and villages in urgent need
• Distribute reusable menstrual kits to keep girls in school
• Rebuild a rural primary school in Butogota
• Support economic independence for women through business training
We’re building a model of change that is grassroots, community-led, and sustainable.
